In the so-called 'British School of Aromatherapy', essential oils are added in a low dilution to vegetable oils, and this blend is then used for therapeutic massage. The vegetable oils used in this process have come to be known as 'carrier oils', because they 'carry' the essential oils. But this suggests that they have a neutral role, while many vegetable oils have significant (and in some cases extraordinary) benefit in their own right, both as skin care products and also for ingestion (many contain essential fatty acids in particular ratios of the omegas). Oshadhi is a specialist company for carrier oils, offering 70 different products. Please select from the subcategories below, or choose the specific oil from the list.
