Balms and Soothers

Oshadhi Balms and Soothers consist of essential oils specially selected for a variety of beneficial effects, and carefully blended in a jojoba base.

Jojoba (simmondsia chinensis) is an evergreen desert shrub, native of Mexico, Arizona, and southern California. Its nuts, with their delicate shells, contain a precious wax that does not congeal at room temperature. Jojoba contains fatty acid esters, proteins, and minerals vital for protection and nourishment of skin collagen. Its close chemical resemblance to substances derived from endangered species like whales makes it an ideal substitute. It penetrates easily and rapidly into the skin, and for this reason it is an excellent carrier substance for the cosmetic and therapeutic use of essential oils.
